happy oh nine

hard to believe that 2008 is over.  it was a pretty great year.  there were, of course, the challenging times, although looking back i am grateful for the hard times too.  i think it was the challenging times that made lew and i closer than ever and given how close we are, becoming closer is something i never thought possible.  thank you so much for reading this year--it has been a lot of fun to launch my blog and share parts of my world with you.  i am looking forward to another year in this space.

p.s. sadie is recovering nicely with a 6 of her 8 drains removed.  we know we're so lucky that all 3 of us are still here.  thanks for your thoughts,concerns, and well wishes.
