Happy Last Weekend of January (& Friday Links)
Happy last weekend of January, lovelies! How is everyone doing with their new year's resolutions? My goals for 2016 are to watch more movies, read more books (specifically to read 26 books this year), and to learn more about wine. Pretty fun goals, right?! And, I have learned that when your goals are fun, you stick to them! I have watched 3 movies, read 4 1/2 books, and tasted 5 new wines! I even combined two of my goals by watching the movie Somm - have you seen it?! It is completely fascinating! In another life, I want to be a Master Sommelier!

Interesting ideas for school lunches by real chefs.
The above article made me remember Kindred a new(ish) restaurant on Main Street in Davidson, NC where I went to college! The menu looks delicious and it looks like such a gem of a place...I am hoping to go this summer when we will be in town for our fifteen year (gulp!) reunion.
I started and finished this book this week (thank you for the gift, Christa). It is so powerful and thought-provoking, I had trouble putting it down. I can hardly wait for David to read it so that we can discuss. Katie Couric's interview with Paul's wife, Lucy, is beautiful. I stayed fairly composed until the last 50 seconds or so...his words about their daughter are heartwrenchingly lovely.
Ideas for back beans.
Help the Home T company (a company who makes exceptionally soft state shirts (and other products) and donates no less than 10% of their profits to fighting MS) raise money for the Climb to the Top event.
